I was so lucky to have some time off this week, well I am not sure time off is the right thing to say? Maybe some “down time”. As a mum you are never really ‘off’, but the hubby and I along with some great friends got away with the kids to a beautiful town where the rivers meet the mountains, the kind of place where you can’t help but soak in how amazing nature is! The kind of place where even if just for brief moments you can’t help but quiet your mind and listen to the birdsongs, and spend time laughing with friends about things only they would get! The views were spectacular and if you get the chance then I suggest you check some of my recent instagram pics to see what I mean @macglanville.

It is no secret that life has thrown some, well shall we say some “shit’ my way, but don’t for a minute think I will take that lying down (well unless I am meditating), I have moments where yes it is hard to get out of my own head, and moments where my heart feels like it is being stabbed and I want to scream, but then I stand up and keep fighting, because life (and any bastards I have met in it) will never keep me down. We all deserve happiness, we all deserve to feel safe, we all deserve a voice, don’t ever let anyone make you believe otherwise.

Last week for A Blogging Good time I shared a very personal post and I want to thank those of you that commented and showed support, that particular post was also chosen by two other bloggers as their Featured Post of the week, which goes to show there are some really amazing supportive people out there who will have our backs when we are struggling! And to those of you who also took the time to send me a personal message it meant more than you could know, thank you!
