Hi lovely people! If you didn’t catch yesterday’s blog I was sharing with you some of my birthday celebrations. We headed into Melbourne and spent a few days at the Crown Metropol. We shopped, we swam, we ate some seriously amazing food, drank coffee, champagne and of course had more than one birthday cake! I was so blessed to have my family come and stay too! It was awesome to have all the cousins together. My kids only have 5 cousins, and 3 of them live in NSW so it was awesome for my kids to get time with them!

Yesterday I shared with you the beginning of our stay and today I will share a little more. The Metropol was a great place to stay the pool is lovely, and the tram stop is close by which was lucky as if you saw yesterdays Vlog you will have seen we got absolutely drenched in the Melbourne rain. (Let’s just say Melbourne did not put on glorious weather for us)! Still it gave us all a great giggle and we soon warmed up with shopping and coffee (hot chocolates for the kiddo’s). My hubby completely spoiled me with too many gifts including a custom print by the amazing artist  Briggite May, a gorgeous Kate Spade bag, a black bead Tiffany and co bracelet and more, as I said way too much!  And my family gave me some gorgeous gifts too including another Tiffany and co Bracelet, a Mimco clutch, a Pandora bracelet and an amazing jewellery box by Pottery Barn! My hubby’s family also made me feel so special I got an amazing vase by Kate Spade, a Ted Baker winter wrap and a Ted Baker tote. I also have to mention my gorgeous mother-in-law, not only did she give me the Ted Baker gifts she sent me the cutest cake fork and tea spoon! The spoon actually has a cup of tea on the handle and the fork has a cake, way too cute! And somehow she found an original 1976 tea towel with a calendar on it I LOVE IT!

After arriving home from the city I caught up with some girlfriends of mine who showered me in flowers, a beautiful tea cup, biscuits and tea from Crabtree and Evelyn, a bottle of Rose Label Lanson Champagne, a necklace and a beautiful book that I will have to share with you soon! I couldn’t have felt more special and loved.

Honestly though I just feel blessed that I have an amazing group of people in my life, they are the true gift that I have been given, I love them all so much.

If you ever get the chance to visit Melbourne, here are a few of my must do’s!
