“by loving them for more than their abilities we show our children that they are much more than the sum of their accomplishments”

-Eileen Kennedy-Moore

Our children are so precious and like the above quote touches on, they are so much more than their abilities and their accomplishments. It is so easy to be the proud parent when they dance beautifully at their recital, or they score top marks in school. We boast to friends and family about how good they may be at sport, or what an amazing they cook they are. When they learn to walk we can’t wait to shout it from the rooftop, and when they say mama for the first time we literately do shout it from the rooftop and tell anyone who will listen (especially if like my girls they say dada for months beforehand!) But our children are so much more, just as we are so much more than our job title, or our past accomplishments.

Sometimes in our busy lives we forget to stop and enjoy those little in-between moments with our children, but those little everyday moments are what makes our time with them so memorable, and so very precious. Celebrate and enjoy your child in the quiet moments, and celebrate your own uniqueness also.

I think trying to capture precious moments is what inspires us to take so many photos of these little amazing people in our lives, and that is what #mumyshot loves to celebrate. And how adorable is the piano pic above! It was taken by @tots_on_guide.

And now check out these precious captures.

Let me introduce you to the photographers of these very cute pics!
