“She decided to start living the life she’d imagined”
Kobi Yamada
This was the life I imagined, and it took me a long time to realise that I deserved to follow my dream. We waste so much time not following our dreams, or not believing that we are worthy of good things. But we are, we deserve to be happy and fulfilled and the best way to find happiness is to be who we truly are. What is your dream? What life did you once dream of living?
What if you allowed yourself the freedom to follow those dreams once again? Wow, what a gift that would be to the world!
Don’t ever stop believing that dreams can come true! Be inspired, work hard, challenge yourself, and dare to believe in dreams once again.

This is an interesting post merely due to it’s timing. For reasons I won’t go into on here, I’ve have contemplated many of these questions myself as of late. Right now, I am still searching for answers. Have a good one!
Great post lovely – I think fear holds us back so much.
it really does
I often think about what was my dream, and other than becoming a mother and a wife, my dream was only ever to be happy. Having lived with mental illness for most of my adult life and then the loss of Joseph, I think there was a time when I thought I would never know true happiness. Yet here I am as a mum of five and I tell myself every single day how lucky I am to be living a life I never thought I would be lucky enough to have. These days I dream about finally becoming a professional writer, something which when I have the time I am going to work so hard to achieve. Never give up on your dreams, that’s what my Nan always tells me. #mg
I love this – I’m a huge advocate of following your dreams (within reason as my wise dad used to say as you have to pay the bills!!). It’s great to have a big dream and just slowly work towards achieving it xx #anythinggoes
your dad is a wise man!
I wanted to write my heart out but I don’t know what was stopping me to write until my Son was born and inspired me to start something for myself. I am glad I did not think about money issues and just hopped to follow my dream. Life is nothing without short term and long term dreams.
It’s so true. I love writing me blog – I don’t earn from it but it brings me joy in so many ways. Currently I am looking for paid work but I am continuing to blog and take pictures and I’m also making dream catchers in the hope that I can make money doing something I love. Sarah #mg
I love this post… And yes as long as we kept believing in our dreams and doing our best to achieve it, then soon enough we will be living with our dreams. #mg
Your words are always so beautiful Mackenzie, I love your posts! #mg
I am at the part in my life too where I want to follow my dreams. I don’t always have a clear picture on how to get there but I am weaving out a plan, slowly but surely! Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful linky and for all of your inspiring posts!
I agree with you, Mac. We just need to believe in ourselves. I was lucky to have my Mom’s encouragement all along and she made me think I could do anything I set my mind to do. I keep thinking of that quote “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right.”
Thanks for a lovely post! Happy to join you on Mondays! Thank you for hosting #mg – Hugs
I think I am living the life I want to be living right now. I am very happy with things in general. It’s nice to be reminded of this though! Thanks for hosting #MG x
Great quote Mac. One to live by. Pen x #mg
This reminds me of one of my favourite quotes, feel the fear and do it anyway! Thank you for the reminder Mac and for hosting xx
I’m so glad that you and I are living our dream, Mac. More power to you!
I used to dream about doing and being so many different things… the list is endless, Ive achieved some and failed at others but at least I tried and thats all I will continue to do.. who knows whats the around the corner? What I do believe in is positivity and putting positive thoughts and feelings into everything you do! Thanks for hosting Mac x
I have been so deflated lately that reading this has really inspired me. I really need to find the time to do more of what I love X
I wish I was a bit more brave in doing what I want. Bills get in the way mostly. That and the fact that I’m not overly sure what it is I want any more! Great post. #mg
Living our dreams are so important. I’m slowly but surely getting to where I want to be to live my dream too #mg
As we are our own cheerleaders it’s only right we should live out our dreams. #mg
Everyone should follow theirs dreams – I think we owe it to ourselves to at least give it a shot!
Thanks for linking up to #AnythingGoes 🙂
Debbie

What a great, short and sweet postto remind us we are worthy. Always a good thing, especially for us moms who question and ponder our worth all of the time. Thanks Mac, and TY for being such a lovely and wonderful host for #mg
