This past week was back to school week in our home, it was a bit of an adjustment with the daylight savings change added in. We had some ups and down this week, but still I have so many things to be grateful for!
So today I am going to share some of the things that I enjoyed, or that I am grateful for this week.
Firstly, I was so grateful to get to spend time in my son’s classroom!
My family, I always feel blessed to have my hubby and our kids, no matter how hard some moments are or how messy and noisy life can be they are the best part of my world!
Next was friends to talk to when I was feeling like a ‘bad mummy’. Having awesome friends to pick you up is such a blessing.
Then there is my new puppy Heidi, I am very grateful for her
Holly-Rose of course!
Cosy socks and a warm home when it was hailing outside!
And we can’t forget Avari, also known as Fluffy Pants
Flowers, they just always brighten my day
My blog and coffee of course!
Yes life isn’t perfect, but I always love to surround myself with people who uplift me, and who support me. I love to surround myself with pretty things and notice all the little things that bring me joy. It is those little moments that add up and make a huge difference to how we feel each and every day, so it is so important to notice them! Look around and take notice of the things you feel grateful for right in this very moment!
“I am sitting by a window and listening to the sound of my girls giggling as they bake, I can hear the sounds of lawn mowers that remind me that it is springtime, and I can feel the sunshine on my legs as it streams through the window. My cat is lying on the floor in the sun, and I can hear my hubby chatting to our neighbour as my son is attempting to put on his dads huge jacket lol. It is these little in-between moments that bring us so much happiness”.
