What if you already have everything you could possibly need to be happy? What if I told you that you are already good enough, in fact you are perfect just the way you are?

Would it make a difference, would you believe me, or would you just dismiss it? Other people can tell us how amazing we are, or that we don’t need to change a thing about who we are, but unless we believe it ourselves then we will most likely dismiss it.

But what if you tell yourself these things, what if you say to yourself everyday that you are good enough just the way you are? What if you tell yourself that you already have all you need to be happy? Would you believe it then? Maybe not at first, but the fact is if you tell yourself these things everyday eventually they will replace that negative dialogue you have been using. I know you might feel silly at first, talking to yourself, and telling yourself how wonderful you are can feel very strange. But persist and soon it will become the natural way you think about yourself. What have you got to lose? Try it now, tell yourself;

  • “I have everything I need to be happy with my life right now”.
  • “I am worthy of love and happiness”.
  • “I am already good enough”.
  • “I am already perfect”.

It is all about changing our mindset. When we come from  place of positive thinking it is much easier to recognise the good in ourselves, the good in others, and also the good in our world. When we think positively about what we have it is easier to be happier. Stop obsessing over the things you don’t have, and start thinking about all the things you have to be grateful for.

We each have things to be grateful for each and every day. What do you have right now that you are grateful for?

Perhaps it is your healthy children, a beautiful garden, perhaps the sun is shining today, or the rain sounds so pretty on your roof. Perhaps you have a friend who is always there for you, or you are reading a great book, or you have a warm cosy home you are grateful for. Stop and think about all the good things in your life, focus on them right now. Keep looking to find all the good things in your life and keep looking at all the amazing things about you. You deserve happiness.

Don’t let negative self talk hold you back, don’t let negative thoughts hold you back. We are all surrounded by everyday miracles, fresh water, laughter, music, flowers, chocolate, it’s time to appreciate these things.

Once you accept that you already have all you need to be happy, you will set yourself free to live a happier life.

Now it’s time to share my favourites from my hashtag Living Fearlessly Authentic. One thing I love is how #livingfearlesslyauthentic celebrates real life, and just gives everyone the opportunity to share their everyday life with one another. Like this photograph shared by @mama_do, I love that her mum re-discovered this gorgeous outfit from her childhood.

And this super cute moment of sibling love, from @surrey_mama, as mums we often feel mummy guilt about many things, but then moments like this make it all worth while.

And here are some more of my absolute favourite photos from Living Fearlessly Authentic this week! Remember if you want to have a chance to be featured just tag your Instagram photographs with #livingfearlesslyauthentic.  It really is about sharing everyday moments of real life.
