The dog just cost us a fortune at the Vet, poor little Stan got an eye infection, he is an American Cocker Spaniel and is prone to eye infections and he got a bad one. Thankfully we caught it in time that it hasn’t affected his eyesight!

He did however cost us a small fortune with his tablets, drops and cream. The poor little darling has to wear a cone over his head too which he is being a trooper about and he does look very cute. Is it strange to say I’m proud of a dog? Well I am, he is being so good about taking his tablets and letting us put cream in his eyes. I think us grown ups would complain more than Stan is.

Relieved to say it’s not contagious though. With Holly-Rose our puppy around him all the time and then we are minding our parents dog Jasper whilst they travel, so I’m glad we don’t have to keep them apart.

Hopefully Stan will be all better quickly, we take him back to the Vet on Wednesday. It is amazing how attached I have become to our little rescue dog, I hate seeing him sick especially when he was mistreated for most of his life by his previous owners. He is part of our family now and so any vet bill is worth him being happy and healthy!

Thanks for joining me, love Mackenzie xx
