This weekend was fabulous, not only was the weather beautifully warm and tropical, but we celebrated my little boys sixth birthday with his friends! He had the most fabulous day with a Taekwondo party and got so many gifts he couldn’t believe it! When he saw them all he had a nervous little giggle as he just really couldn’t believe it! It was actually a perfect party for a group of 5 and 6 year olds as it was so action packed and the kids just had a ball!

Β My gorgeous daughter also got to do the guest performance at a school dance competition this weekend, it was so lovely watching her, she performed a contemporary routine to Colourblind by Counting Crows.

Another treat was the tropical storm that came in early evening. It was so lovely and warm and we sat out on the front deck watching the lightening over the hill. I loved how excited the kids got every time we saw a new flash! As it drifted closer we thought we better watch from inside the house!

Sunday was another sunny day, we enjoyed time in the garden with family and especially enjoyed my sons new bubble rocket that he got for his birthday.

Have you read my latest post? Motherhood slapped me in the face. It’s all about not being the mother I though I’d be.

Or check out my post about how my 6 year old tells me I am not allowed to sing! Have you had this happen?
