This weekend Spring truly greeted us and it was so lovely to say hello. The air was so warm and it was great to get out into the backyard.

We moved into this home in May this year and soon after we welcomed winter. So we haven’t started our back garden yet. Now that springtime is here hubby and I are deciding what we want to do with our back garden. We had such a gorgeous native garden in our last home, with lots of gum trees and a windy path, and two large decked areas, plus chickens roaming around. Our garden here is a lot flatter and a fair bit smaller too, and at the moment it is just grass. We have made a few decisions, we know we need to create an outside eating area, and we want fruit trees and some screening trees, and also a vegetable patch. We also really need to get a garden shed to keep gardening tools and the bikes etc. So we set out with our tape measure and enjoyed the sun whilst pondering what to do, and what to put where.

Sunday was Father’s day here. We headed to my parents home and had a lovely B.B.Q lunch followed by some fresh scones YUMMY! It was great to see my nephews too and one of my brothers, and my gorgeous sister. You can see some pics from Sunday on Instagram.

Here are a few pics of Adam with Aspen on Saturday playing whilst we were deciding on what to do with the garden.
