Have you done all your shopping? Are you organised? Or are you off to garb those last minute stocking fillers?

I feel pretty organised, in fact I think I have actually gone a bit overboard. For me it has been my hubby that is the hardest to buy for! I have managed to sneak in a few gifts, and as much as a voucher can seem so impersonal, sometimes it is the best idea. My hubby is totally into bike riding and I have no idea what to get him, or how to find it at the best price, so a voucher to his favourite Bike Store was the best solution. Then yesterday he sends me a text,

“I have found something you can buy me for Christmas” Along with a LINK.

I was excited, and the I clicked on the LINK

It was for a ROAD ID, you know in case my hubby falls off or gets knocked off his bike whilst on a road and is lying unconscious, or worse, and no one can identify him!!!! I mean is this what I want to be imagining with only 3 sleeps until Xmas??? Especially given he told me he is going to spend half of Christmas Eve on a bike ride!

BUT the truth is it is a smart idea, and one I would suggest is important to have, but hopefully is never needed. I told him to buy it for himself!

So with him all sorted I am happy to say I feel ready for the big day. Here are some gifts ideas I have loved this Christmas in case you are still searching for that last minute idea.

I am totally in love with this Mimco Clutch, this one says “INSPIRE”, but it comes in other colours, and with other words like “EMPOWER” and “RESPECT”.

What I love most about it is the meaning behind these designs. To me it is the perfect gift. It is gorgeous, functional and best of all for a great cause!

Know someone who needs inspiring? I adore inspirational books.

Or Champagne is always a great option!

Or what about anything food involved! A yummy batch of homemade muffins, or chocolate!!!!! Or a voucher to a beautiful restaurant! Of course along with a voucher to a restaurant you can also offer them a homemade baby sitting voucher!

And in keeping with food loving theme, a cook book for those who love to bake, whether it is a child or a grown up!

And after eating too much you may feel like mediating!

Or getting active! Why not buy a loved one some cool work out gear!

Another great idea is for your children to paint an original piece of art for grandparents, or even for us!

Other ideas I am loving is the whole trend of teaching our children to move away from screen time and learn a little more about gratitude. This gorgeous Journal from Kikki K offers prompts to help your child take notice of the great things in their life!

Or just getting back to loving paper! This gorgeous book has little cards you can make, post cards, wrapping paper and gift tags, enough to keep you supplied for a long time!

And I am totally in love with this pen pal kit!

The whole mindful colouring book care has been going a couple of years now, but I see my girls getting so much out of it, so I highly recommend it for children from ages 8 and up.

Check out this funky monster! I love kids quirky hand towels, this one was from Zara Home.

I also believe you can never go past a beautiful children’s book.

Or a totally loveable Teddy Bear!

And fresh flowers are always a lovely touch!

I hope this has given you some inspiration, but I truly believe the best gift we can give anyone, especially our children is the best version of ourselves. If we are over stressed because of trying to find that difficult person the perfect gift, or trying to cook too much, then we can’t enjoy the magic of this beautiful time of year. So slow down, take time to notice the joy on your children’s faces and the magic of the pretty lights and yummy foods.

Merry Christmas xx

Love Mac xx
