As individuals, we resist simplistic labels. But sometimes those same labels are convenient masks for when we don’t want to face the world or show it who we really are. Or because we’re just too damn tired. It’s easy to lose our sense of self in the midst of all this.”

The above paragraph was written by Tim from the blog Slouching Towards Thatcham. His Blog Post titled Losing and rediscovering ‘me’ was very relatable to me as a parent and as a blogger, in my opinion it is a must read I hope you will head over to his Blog and check it out! You won’t regret it! Grab you’re Featured Writer Badge Tim.

Only the great posts don’t stop there, as with every week I find it so challenging to pick one post, this week was particularly hard for me and so what the heck I also have to recommend to you a fab post by confessions of a Crummy Mummy titled “why I decided to try painting with my boobs”, yes I did just write boobs! I found this post very empowering and think it is a fantastic idea, here is a paragraph from the post;

The theory is that we are all perfectly imperfect and the diversity of our boobies is what makes them so glorious. There is no such thing as too small, too big, too wonky, too saggy, all nipple or not enough nipple, and the boob printing workshop is all about celebrating that.

So there you have it, two very different posts, yet both inspirational and both have a similar theme in learning to discover ourselves and become more empowered!

And Now . . . .
